About 4:44 Ventures
4:44 Ventures was formed around a simple belief: the best businesses are built—and transferred—through alignment, not urgency.
We acquire established, cash-generative companies at moments of transition, with a long-term ownership mindset and a focus on continuity for employees, customers, and founders. We are not driven by short-term exits or financial engineering. Our approach is patient, disciplined, and grounded in fundamentals.
We partner directly with owners who care about what they’ve built and want a thoughtful next chapter.
In his early years as a young entrepreneur, Wayne founded a technology startup and went through formal incubator and accelerator environments, including the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship. During that period, he raised external funding, worked closely with advisors and investors, and learned firsthand the realities of building a business under constraint—balancing vision with execution, and growth with discipline.
Those early experiences shaped a practical understanding of ownership: how capital behaves, how risk compounds, and how decisions made early echo over time.
Alongside entrepreneurship, Wayne has spent more than a decade in senior roles within established organizations, leading enterprise initiatives across technology, operations, and program delivery. This work required long-term thinking, governance, and consistency—skills that translate directly into responsible ownership of operating businesses.
At 4:44 Ventures, Wayne brings these experiences together. He approaches acquisitions as a long-term steward, with respect for what owners have built and a clear focus on continuity for staff, customers, and the business itself.
